The MULTIMO Consortium includes expertise from 9 universities and 2 private consulting partners (click on Figure below).Members of the consortium are drawn from many disciplines with the goal of understanding how volcanoes work.

The experiences of each member insitute can be expressed according to a phase diagram whose end members are the three research components of the MULTIMO project (Forecasting, Modelling, and Monitoring). The roles of each member are intended to reduce overlap between partners, yet cover the interelationships between the three research components.
