Background:

Dr Oded Navon has constructed an experimental laboratory and combined experimental and theoretical methods in studies of bubble nucleation and growth in silicate melts.

Role:

His group will be involved together with Partners 5 and 6 in the modelling of magma processes, here in particular in bubble behaviour and brittle-ductile transition in rocks WP3 and WP5. Their deliverables will provide the input parameter for modelling the trigger mechanism of seismic swarms and tremor WP4.
