What is the Earth and Biosphere Institute?
The EBI is a group of internationally recognised scientists with interests in the effects of biotic and environmental changes on a spectrum of time and space scales, from short term to geological, and from nano-scale to global. The institute aims to build on existing strengths and to develop new research synergies both within the EBI and across the University of Leeds, and also with groups from outside the university. The EBI membership is drawn from the Schools of Biology, Earth and Environment and Geography at the University of Leeds.
Why was the Institute created?
