The research interest of the group is the analysis and modelling of volcanic processes using mainly broad-band seismological data, but also other geophysical approaches. Our group has collaborations with Institutes and Universities in Britain, Europe, Asia and America.

Our main target volcano is Soufriere Hills (Montserrat, West Indies), but we are working on many other volcanoes, like Stromboli (Italy), Merapi (Java, Indonesia), Usu (Hokkaido,  Japan), Katmai (Alaska), Spurr (Alaska), Redoubt (Alaska), Ruapehu (New-Zealand)...
