PREPARATION OF REVISED MANUSCRIPT
Read the Springer final instructions (word file)
Electronic files
- Please take note of the referencing style, which is close to GJI, JGR, or JFM styles.
- Cross-referencing other articles in the text is by (see magnetohydrodynamics) or
magnetohydrodynamics (qv). Cross-referencing is often preferable to citing an
original paper.- List cross-references at the end of the article.
- Make sure your title conforms EXACTLY with the list above; if you wish to change
it consult the editor. The same applies to cross-references (note these will continue
to change, hopefully minimally from now on-the printer will sort out the last changes).- The first page should contain only authors' names, the address should go on the separate
cover sheet with the other requested information.- Include a word count and number of figures on the cover sheet if possible.
Download the copyright form (word file)
- WORD FILES: Include the .doc and separate files for any figures
- LATEX/TEX: build a .pdf and include all the files necessary to rebuild the .pdf
(the publisher will typeset the book but needs the .tex and .bib files to do this)- GRAPHICS: .ps, .eps, .tiff, .jpeg of adequate resolution (see instructions).
Please note the only colour will be on separate plates. Any colour requirements
need to be agreed with the editors and should be referenced as "colour plate" in
the text. Please make sure any figures that will be printed in black and white or
grey scale will come out legibly if you have made them in colour.
Fill this in, one author must sign and date it, and return it with manuscript.
