Looking north out along the Wadi Chadra. The rubbly white rocks
in the foreground are shattered limestones - part of the fault rock suite of
the Yammouneh Fault. They ae derived from the Cretaceous limestones seen intact
in the road section to the right (east of the fault). The basalts in contrast
are not deformed. Wadi Chadra has been eroded out along the weak rocks of the
fault zone.
